Baia dei Trentaremi
Via Tito Lucrezio Caro, 22, Napoli, NA, Italia
We bet you’ve seen so many postcards and pictures portraying the Gulf of Naples, or even on Facebook or on your smartphone… and sometimes we almost forget there is a small bay down the Posillipo hill. It’s called Bay of Trentaremi and that’s what’s left of a volcanic crater.
This bay offers naturalistic treasures, among which the small grottos hidden in between coves; intimate little pebbly beaches (bring your sandals!); and rock scattered a bit everywhere in the sea. A totally uncontaminated place you can enjoy even through a kayak trip organised by several local companies during summer.
Arm yourself with goodwill and a camera, and let the beauty of this place overwhelm you.
A little doozy for you: recently a spring which ends up right into this bay has been discovered and it is usually possible to swim together with dolphins!
