Casa Morra
Salita S. Raffaele, 20C, Napoli, 80136 NA, Italia
Hey, hey, hey! Who told you Naples is just pizza, mandolin and Vesuvio? The truth is in Naples you would never know what it could happen. So… would you ever expect that you could find a modern art museum in the middle of Materdei area? And what a museum!!
The majestic staircase of the seventeenth-century building Ayerbo of Aragona Cassano is the worthy entrance door to access the place where we want to bring you: Casa Morra.
You’re completely fool if you are expecting to visit a classic museum and stroll around paintings!
Who do you think we are? We are not that ordinary… Casa Morra is a contemporary art archive, which holds the entire collection and art essence of the Neapolitan gallerist Giuseppe Morra: that’s why you won’t find anything finished. This is a work in progress place, which is always up to generate new spaces and interactions in between you and art.
Ok, maybe we have exaggerated. We don’t even know if what we just said makes sense. “new spaces and interactions in between you and art…” mmmm…
It sounds cool tho!
