Via Cegnacolo, 55, 80056 Ercolano, NA, Italia
This is not one of those usual restaurants, this is a cult spot surrounded by vineyards, cultivation of cherry tomatoes, and hives of bees for the production of honey. A place where women and men get in touch with the products of this land and end up having gastronomic highlights to masquerades like in in the One thousand and one nights tale.
A relaxed atmosphere, very stylish, with industrial finish and unique craftwork pieces. Soft lights, and a staff ready to cuddle you to make you live a fantastic experience (their canteen has 900 labels and 4000 bottles, you can bet you are going to remember this forever!)
So, if happiness comes eating, then we need to go all together to Masseria Guida!
The kitchen, guided by chef Basilio Avitabile, offers tasting menus for every taste and pocket: “Stroll in the orchard” menu with 4 courses € 55.00, “Trip in Masseria” menu with 6 courses € 70.00, “Eat and drink” menu with 6 courses with wine pairings € 95.00
Lets proceed with order: the bread basket: tarallini sugna, almonds and pepper, squid ink crakers with Maldon salt, white bread, tomato bread, broccoli bread, lemon bread, focaccine with herbs, with walnuts, with buckwheat which comes from a great EVO oil bio.
Starters: roasted artichoke, very traditional of this land, tripe with tomatoes, pepper and octopus and Scallops with potatoes with coffee and hazelnuts. The plating is perfect and very creative, you will eat every dish with your eyes first and then with your mouth. Real artworks!
The ultimate pleasure are the candles with mozzarella ragu with aglianico must, crunchy artichokes and pecorino from Carmasciano, or a risotto with chlorophyll of chives, langoustine and lemon. Even the maccheroncino with 3 different tomatoes and mozzarella dust and the buckwheat raviolo with blue fish and tomatoes water are not a joke. I think we said them all?
Main dishes? Smoked gray mullet and wild broccoli, Marinated mullet with cauliflower and lemon scented thyme Bearnaise sauce, and for every meat lover, veal tongue with cicerchie, onion from Tropea and Swiss chard.
To finish: lemon, spelt and coffee tart (we want two of them!), or chocolate 70% and red fruits or legnasanta hazelnut and rum (and the bill please).
Ah! Did we tell you that here they have suites where you can digest all night long?
Dreams come true: eat like God and sleep like a King!
