A mindful sensorial journey. Gianni Lotti talks about his restaurant saying that “Cru… do rè is a lifestyle” and he ‘s right.
This is a place of love, and who can’t love, or is not romantic, or doesn’t close his/her eyes to taste a dish is such a sexy atmosphere, can’t deserve this place. Time is everything and we can’t waste it eating fish which has not been treated with love. NEVER!
The cuisine here is very honest, with seasons, ingredients and clients. Sometimes we think you might see the captain of “Love Boat” coming out from there, we don’t know why, he was so classy…
Their cantine represents the best experience through their white wines and champagne. A basket of bread , grissini and crackers on your table. Ok we are ready.
Tastings can be either of raw fish or cooked. Raw fish tasting includes two oysters fine de claire, two sea truffles, a langoustine, a prawn, tuna tartare and salted cod carpaccio. Cooked one includes scallop with Parmesan broccoli truffle and Mediterranean panure, fish and shellfish tempura with wa.so.li sauce.
The best is the the chef selection: seven dishes “Essenza di Cru… do re’”, which are hands, heart, head, passion, will power, love and sweetness. Basically we just miss Cèline Dion singing “My heart will go on” and we can steam off years of love disappointments. We have never felt that cuddled.
As we are talking about music, the pasta dishes are pure melody: ziti with Genovese sauce and tuna belly, risotto with courgettes, zucchini blossoms and caviar or spaghetti with shellfish.
If you are still hungry: seared tuna with cous cous, burrata and ginger; salted cod with chickpeas and sweet and sour red onion; lobster or “blue lobster”.
The dessert is just the perfect ending. Now you feel comfortable, you’ve lost all your inhibitions, you feel good, free to be yourself and now that you can kiss her everything looks perfect. There you go.
Can you year the bells?
We are tired, but we got engaged!
