Pizzeria Francesco & Salvatore Salvo
Via Riviera di Chiaia, 271, Napoli, NA, Italia
“Pizza is a simple product, to make it special you need to care…” and Salvo brothers know this very well. Here it’s not just about caring, their passion and research last since Francesco and Salvatore were very young looking at their father Giuseppe working. The result? The ultimate Neapolitan pizza!
Their dough leaven for 24h, excellent tomatoes from Campania, San Marzano, cherry tomatoes from Gragnano and from Piennolo. Extra Virgin Oil made from cold pressed Italian olives and very traditional fresh mozzarella.
In front of your eyes the best you can have, a restaurant of 400mq – with a canteen as well – two wood-burnings ovens, mixed fried corner and us… just there, eating as there is no tomorrow!
The menu includes pizzas of the day and seasonal pizzas as well.
Fried starters: frittatina with pasta and potatoes, fried salted cod, pasta frittata, crocchè, arancini, montanare trio (with the souce of the day, genovese sauce with Montoro golden onion, and sauce from Piennolo cherry tomatoes)
Tasting manues for 2 or 4 people in between fried food, pizza and ripieni. And more classic pizzas and montanare (classic or with genovese sauce).
Wait, we haven’t done yet. Here you can also choose the “Francesco and Salvatore’s pizzas”: “Sausages, potatoes and mint” – white pizza with fiordilatte from Agerola, Cosentino wild pork sausages, potatoes flakes with mint and Parmisan, EVO from frantoio Viola. “Dream Met”: white pizza with fiordilatte from Agerola, spring onion, Angus minced meat, Agerola salami, grated lemon zest, grilled Neapolitan pappacella in oil, Roman conciato, EVO from rantoio Comicioli, basil.
