Trattoria San Ferdinando
Via Nardones, 117, 80132 Napoli, NA, Italia
The menu? Is up to the nature.
Every dish here, is a love call to Neapolitan tradition.
Every corner reminds you you are in Naples, every side enhance Neapolitan art and its characters.
All of a sudden, a scent coming from the kitchen calls your attention.
He’s Aldo Bruno, son of “Ciro Occhiobello”, who used to manage the kitchen at the Royal Palace. Through the tables his mum and his brothers.
Aldo is determined as his father. He knows how hungry we are today!
Make yourself comfortable. red and white checked tablecloth, tiled floors, theatre posters, pictures of famous Neapolitan actors and pictures of people who went there for food, from Lucio Dalla, to Maria Grazia Cucinotta, and us.
(yes, ours is printing…).
To start with, a mix of veggies, mozzarella, bruschette and Italian mixed fried.
Pasta: pasta and potatoes with provola, vermicelli with octopus sauce and bucatini allo Scarpariello.
We mean, if you want all of them you can order them all, otherwise you can choose one (I know, but we like to be clear).
As main dish: salted cod alla Siciliana, Neapolitan beef meatballs and parmigiana di melanzane.
Ask Marco, sommelier, Aldo’s brother, who knows knows how hungry we are, and wine as it was raining.
Marco looks at you in the eyes. He know how thirsty we are today.
A toast to Bruno’s family!
Dessert of the day.
Bye Aldo, we are drunk from love!
